The increasing need for precise surface preparation techniques in diverse industries has spurred extensive investigation into laser ablation. This analysis directly evaluates the efficiency of pulsed laser ablation for the detachment of both paint films and rust corrosion from ferrous substrates. We noted that while both materials are prone to lase
